About The Ingrid Theory
Expand your orbit, not your output.
For explorers of the human experience, and the deeper stuff.
A place to discover ideas, connect some dots, and zoom out for a while.
Figuring it out as we go. 🤷‍♀️
Here, we don't optimise life.
We orbit it.
You know how you can get a song stuck in your head?
That’s how I feel about certain ideas, interests and questions.
I obsess over them, dive too deep, then move on to the next shiny thing.
This blog is a collection of those fleeting fixations; a space for pondering things like the obvious, the uncomfortable, and the seemingly unrelated.
An immersion into that strange place where the mess and the meaning overlap.
A shot at condensing existential restlessness into something more... constructive?
Maybe it’ll help you connect a few dots of your own.
Maybe it’ll just be a place to hang out while we collectively figure it all out.
Either way, welcome! I’m really glad you're here.
(Oh, and Ingrid isn’t my real name. It’s my middle name though.)

What you'll find here
Hopefully, content that helps you navigate it all with a little more ease, curiosity, and breathing room.
Maybe some topics you wouldn't have stumbled upon otherwise.
Nudges to expand your orbit a little, around yourself, others, and life in general.
Expanding your orbit isn’t about conquering more, producing more, or moving faster.
It’s about seeing wider. Feeling deeper.
Experiencing more, and appreciating existence a little more fully.
I try to keep things simple and generally organise everything into two categories:
Little nudges to expand your orbit. Drawn from unexpected sparks of inspiration, deep explorations, and lived experiences. What's your take?
Recommendations 🤯
Ideas, people, places & things that broke my brain - in a good way. Curated shortcuts to the good stuff, plus possibly some of my own creations.
What do I get for subscribing?
Honestly? I’m still figuring it out.
I don’t post on a set schedule, only when inspiration (and real life) allow.
(Plot twist: I have a full-time job!)
But when I do have something worth sharing (a new pondering or a recommendation), you’ll be the first to know.
And I’ll be genuinely grateful that you decided to spend some of your valuable time exploring these ideas with me.
What I can promise: I'll stay curious. I'll write thoughtfully.
And whenever I share something here, it’s because it felt too good, too interesting, or too intriguingly weird not to.
Orbit and out! 🚀
